Aquatech Aquariums is a family-run business founded by marine biologist and aquarium enthusiast, Tom McCrum in 2019.

We have been offering aquarium installations
and maintenance services for local clients and businesses along the Fylde Coast since 2009 and have now expanded our horizons by offering our favourite brands
and aquarium products online and in our retail store.

What we believe makes Aquatech Aquariums stand out is our passion for the hobby, and our commitment to providing excellent customer service.

We are proud to encourage other aquarium enthusiasts, hobbyists, and newbies alike to enjoy the wonders of aquariums just like we do.

Tom McCrum, the founder of Aquatech Aquariums, was born in Blackpool, Lancashire, where the business is based.

Growing up, Tom found himself fascinated by the marine world and fishkeeping. This was initially influenced by his older sister, Emma, who managed the local Blackpool Sea Life Centre and loved showing Tom around the tanks and behind the scenes.

He spent most of his childhood exploring the local coastlines and observing the sea life in their natural habitat.

Tom's passion for fishkeeping grew as he got older. Whilst studying for his degree in Marine Biology, Tom started doing aquarium installations and maintenance services for local clients and businesses along the Fylde Coast. He found it
fulfilling to share his passion and knowledge with others.

In 2019, Tom took the next step and founded Aquatech Aquariums. He wanted to offer more than just a click-and-drop facility; he focused on providing exceptional customer service and aftercare that would help customers throughout their fish-keeping journey, both in-store and online.

The staff at Aquatech Aquariums are also experienced and knowledgeable marine biology students, and are always ready to assist customers with any queries they may have.
