Neon Tetras (Paracheirodon innesi) are popular tropical aquarium fish renowned for their striking blue and red colours. To ensure their health and vibrancy, maintain them in a tank with stable water conditions: a temperature between 72-78°F (22-26°C) and a pH level around 6.0-7.0. Neon Tetras thrive in soft, slightly acidic water.
Offer plenty of swimming space, along with live or artificial plants for shelter and security. Their diet should consist of high-quality flake foods, small pellets, and occasional live or frozen treats to replicate their natural insect-based diet.
Neon Tetras are peaceful and should be kept in schools of at least six to display their stunning schooling behaviour. With proper care, they will add beauty and charm to your tropical aquarium.
